Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of Anomalies: Halcyon Gate (the "app"), published by Anomalies: Halcyon Gate Developer ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app you agree to them. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If the two conflict, Apple's agreement governs the points it covers.

1. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment, as permitted by the App Store usage rules.

2. What you may not do

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile or extract the app's code or assets, resell or redistribute the app, remove copyright notices, or use cheats, tools or exploits to tamper with the game or its purchases, except where the law allows otherwise.

3. Purchases

The app may offer optional in-app purchases such as credits, lives, items, booth themes and a no-ads option. All purchases are processed by Apple. Prices are shown in the App Store before you buy. Refunds, cancellations and billing issues are handled by Apple under its policies, at reportaproblem.apple.com. Purchased items are licensed to you, not sold, and have no cash value. You can restore eligible purchases from Settings in the app.

4. Intellectual property

The app, including its art, characters, music, sound, text, code and design, belongs to Anomalies: Halcyon Gate Developer or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. These terms give you no ownership rights in it.

5. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation or freedom from errors, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Some places do not allow these exclusions, so they may not apply to you.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for the app through the App Store in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Changes and termination

We may update the app or these terms. The date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it. We may end your licence if you break these terms. Deleting the app also ends your licence.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not take away any consumer rights you have under the laws of the place where you live.
